Composite Vent Filter

ELGA water reservoirs provide a clean and protected environment for storing purified water. The major potential source of contamination is from air drawn into the reservoir when water is used. To minimize this problem, the reservoir has a tightly fitting screw cap and a non-return valve in the overflow tube so that the air entering the reservoir must pass through the Composite Vent Filter.

o An adsorbent to remove gaseous carbon dioxide from the air

o A filter to prevent passage of bacteria into the reservoir

Back-flow safety mechanism - automatically prevents water back-flow through the filter in the event of the reservoir overfilling
